On Saturday, February 14, 2026, the Fort Lauderdale Fire and Safety Museum will be closed to the public in observance of the Annual Remembrance Ceremony, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The ceremony will be held at the Firefighter’s Memorial, located at the Fort Lauderdale Fire & Safety Museum, 1022 West Las Olas Boulevard, and will honor our fallen brothers and sisters who passed away in 2025. Following the memorial service, light refreshments will be served.
As this is a solemn and meaningful occasion, the scheduled monthly Open House will not take place.
We pause to remember and honor the lives of:
- Alfred Epper, Jr.
- James Culp
- Albert E. Zoellner
- William M. Buck
- John S. Lassiter
- Troy Thisler
- Eugene Schonen
- Daniel C. Wade
- David Paul Perrucci
- Jack D. Whitmill
“Remember the happy times, raise a glass with cheer, come celebrate with us in honor of their lives.”
Thank you for your understanding as we honor those who served.
**This is a private ceremony and is not open to the public.
